Our candles are made to last more than 55+ hours burn time. This is our guide for longer lasting, even burn while you use Venus + Sky candles. You can use candles with our other items. Be mindful to use the items away from the burning flame and not put anything on the candles while they burn.
- Pull off the crystals before you light up your candle.
- Make a space for your candle away from open windows, overhanging interiors or anything that will create drafts and smother an open flame.
- Find a surface to put your candle on that is heat resistant. Please use our candle coasters.
- We like to keep our candle lit for short 1 hour sessions while we do our meditation and rituals. Try to not let your candles burn for more than 3 hours to avoid overheating the candle.
- Once extinguished, wait for it to cool and become solid before you trim your wick.
- Trim the wick 3mm-5mm below the burn line. This is to help keep an even burn. Your candle flame should be teardrop flame shape, not flickering or moving.
- Clean up any soot and dust with a damp cloth.
- Place your cooled candle back in the packaging box to help keep it away from dust and moisture.
- Store it in a cupboard or in a dark dry place away from sunlight.
At the end of your candle life cycle, once the wax has melted to 1 cm from the bottom of your jar, extinguish it and recycle your jar.
